Federal Programs
Introduction
Grove City Area School District complies with federal Department of Education regulations and guidance, and adheres to a federal program review system that meets the criteria for many high-quality learning programs.
In compliance with Federal Program mandates, it is our goal to deliver rigorous, customized instruction to every child, to provide dynamic leadership, to employ highly qualified teachers and staff, and to design the best academic plan for each and every child we serve.
Title I
Title I, Part A (Title I) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESEA) provides supplemental financial assistance to school districts for children from low-income families. Its purpose is to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps by allocating federal funds for education programs and services (source: ed.gov). Title II
Title II, Part A, is a 100% Federally funded supplemental educational program that provides financial assistance to improve the skills of teachers and the quality of instruction in core academic subjects in public and private elementary and secondary schools.

Title IV
The Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) Program improves student's academic achievement by increasing the capacity of States, local educational agencies, schools and local communities to:
- provide all students with access to a well-rounded education;
- improve school conditions for student learning; and
- improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy for all students.
