“What can I do to make this project better than it already is?”
That statement came from Mike Callihan. He is a friend and co-worker of mine who always has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. I look forward to bringing Mike’s words to life by working with the Grove City Education Foundation to make our school district, our students, and our community better than it already is.
I have spent my career working with teams to solve problems. From putting pieces of a puzzle together to find solutions to producing a finished product that we can all be proud of. That can also be the definition of a good parent. You are given the responsibility of a newborn that comes without an instruction book. You do the best you can to impart your wisdom and to help them make good decisions. You give them roots and watch them grow until the day comes when you give them wings and watch them fly.
This foundation will stand alongside the school district, providing resources and funding to give our students the best chance of succeeding. I want to be a part of that. I want our students to enter the workplace proud and prepared.
I have traveled to many towns and cities, large and small. I have visited other cultures and learned from them. I have time now to pass along what I have learned to our younger generation, and I look forward to learning from them.
